Welcome to the This Grad Life Podcast! On this podcast, I interview current and ex-grad students, ask about their research, and commiserate about how awful grad school can be.
For our very first interview, I'd like to introduce PhD Candidate Kellen Kartub. She is a chemist at UC Irvine who works with nanoparticles to enhance analytical techniques. She also talks about the joys of cryo-em, why it's a great (terrible) idea to plan both your marriage and your thesis defense at the same time, being a science communicator on instagram, and also the stress benefits of eating ramen.
